  • Charles Elders

    Charles founded Avoca Insurance Brokers in 2005 and is the Managing Director. His vision and passion in forming Avoca was fuelled by developing strong and long term relationships. His desire was to establish a brokerage that lived the culture of exceptional service, built on trust and respect.

    Avoca is in that exciting growth phase and Charles is leading that process with a definite focus in establishing Avoca as a niche boutique broker to the small and medium enterprise markets and developing a portfolio of specialist risks.

    Charles is passionate about people, life, the environment and making a difference and to that extent is actively committed and involved with the Annual Ride for Youth Charity.

  • Mia-Carla Tree

    Mia-Carla has joined the Avoca team as the Service Delivery Manager, bringing with her over 14 years experience within the insurance industry. For over 10 years Mia managed an insurance brokerage in the north west of Australia, gaining extensive insurance knowledge of that region and specialising in commercial motor and servicing trades within the mining industry.

    Mia-Carla brings not only her insurance knowledge and skills,  but also her experience in business management to her responsibilities at Avoca which include operational and administrative management of the company. Mia’s strive for perfection, loyalty and broad range of experience will prove invaluable to our ongoing pursuit of excellence at Avoca.

  • Sheenali Patel

    Sheenali joined the Avoca team in 2013 as a Claims & Broking Administrator.

    Specialising in claims management, Sheenali is responsible for ensuring that our clients achieve the optimal outcome in their settlement process with a top level of customer service.  Her role also includes acting as an assistant broker, supporting Charles and the team in new business, client relations and general enquiries. Sheenali brings to Avoca exceptional customer service skills and a sound knowledge of the wider insurance industry.

  • Carolyn Iddles

    Carolyn’s role at Avoca Insurance Brokers is primarily as the Financial Administrator and has been with Avoca since July 2009. Her main responsibilities focus on payroll, debtor & creditor payments and the production and development of management reports.

  • Kris Hackett

    Kris is an Administrative Assistant with a focus on supporting management on a range of activities. She has been part of the Avoca team since 2005 and uses her financial experience and background to provide a strong reliable support in all areas.
