History behind the Avoca name
The name Avoca is derived from the River Avoca in picturesque County Wicklow, Ireland. The serene water of the river symbolising calmness and peace with the odd ripple symbolising the ups and downs of life.
Ancient Celtic stone carvings have provided the inspiration for our logo.
Concentric circles were chosen as the logo to represent the security and protection provided by insurance. The worn edges of the circles represent enduring qualities even through the ravages of time, representing the difficulties we face in life.
Our colours are earthy identifying with mother earth and the natural instinct for survival.
