Charles founded Avoca Insurance Brokers in 2005 and is the Managing Director.  His vision and passion in forming Avoca was fueled by developing strong and long term relationships and his desire was to establish a brokerage that lived the culture of exceptional service, built on trust and respect.

Avoca is in that growth phase and Charles is leading that process with a definite focus in establishing Avoca as a niche boutique broker to the small and medium enterprise markets and developing a portfolio of specialist risks.

Charles is passionate about people, life, the environment and making a difference and to that extent is actively committed and involved with the Annual Ride for Youth Charity.

Vannicia Zafaranic

Vannicia is now positioned as the Service Delivery Manager at Avoca.   In this role she leads by example and has established a practice at Avoca that continues to support our vision of professionalism and providing an exceptional level of service, whilst the business grows.

Arnold has 16 years experience in the WA Insurance market and his addition to the team strengthens the capability of the Avoca team.  He joined the team in early 2008.

Larry Tyler

Larry is a Risk Solution Partner  with a strong focus in new business development and has been with Avoca since January 2010.   He is well known within the WA Insurance community with over 30 years experience and having successfully owned and managed his own brokerage and motor underwriting agency.   He has a particular niche within the Motor business and excels in his service and relationships with his clients.

Tammy is an Account Executive with the role of supporting and servicing clients. She has been with the Avoca team since January 2010. Her background in Insurance spans over 25 years, having worked in all areas of the Insurance Industry including Corporate, Rural and Niche markets. A  team player, Tammy will be supporting the growth of New Business and service levels by being “hands on” within the office, and offer a supportive role to not only clients but the team at Avoca.
