Background

The founder Charles Elders has worked in the industry both in Europe and in Australia since 1982. The business began with a portfolio of wonderful clients who have been very supportive and who have been pivotal in helping us create something different. It is our intention that we build our business mirroring these current client relationships.

History of the Avoca Name

Concentric circles carved in stone were chosen as the logo representing the security and protection provided by insurance. The worn edges representing enduring qualities even through the ravages of time symbolising difficulties we face in life. Our colours are earthy identifying with mother earth and our natural desire to survive in which insurance can provide assistance. The name Avoca comes from the name of a river in County Wicklow, Ireland. The calm water of the Avoca river symbolising calmness and peace with the odd ripple reflecting the ups and down of life.
