The great thing about a new financial year is it is a fresh start.

I have spoke to a lot of clients and most I think would be glad to see the back of 2010 fiscal year as it has been tough. Most agree there are some positives on the horizon and a few are definitely seeing a ramping up of activity.  We only now need to see the elections finalised and hopefully some stability from government to see us through to happier times!!

Our Perth hail claims are slowly but surely getting closed out. It has been an unprecedented event that most in the insurance industry do not want to see occur again any time soon. On a positive, one client cheekily told me “I can see now that you guys are actually useful”!

We are announcing the inaugural Avoca Team Challenge charity fundraising event in this edition of the Avocian, so I hope you enjoy reading about it and the rest of the content.
